Dorothy Reich, 90, of Charleroi, passed away on Monday, Aug. 18, 2014, at Country Care Manor, Fayette City. A daughter of the late Benjamin and Emma Barker Warner, she was born in Belle Vernon on Feb. 29, 1924. Formerly of Belle Vernon, Dorothy moved to Charleroi in 2004, and worked as an optician for Nix Optical for 30 years. She retired in 2002. She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints in Fayette City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Reich, on Jan. 16, 1967; two sisters, Edith Warner and Ruth Brown; and three brothers, Arthur Warner, Ben Warner, and Charles Warner. Dorothy is survived by one daughter, Dorothy Jean Reich of Fayette City; one brother, George Warner of Independence, Mo.; one sister, Evelyn Paulman of Belle Vernon; and many nieces and nephews. There will be no public viewing. A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014 in the Community of Christ Church, Fayette City. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
